The value of your property is assessed as of this day.

Spring (April–May)
Brazos Central Appraisal District sends out Notice of Appraised Value showing your property’s value and exemptions. This process is generally performed in multiple runs ranging from April 15th to June 1.

May 15 (or 30 days after notice)
Deadline to protest your appraisal value

Summer (July–September)
Local taxing units (city, county, school district, emergency service districts, municipal utility district, and management district) set their tax rates.

October–November
Tax bills are mailed out by tax assessor-collector.
